Your analytics choice: …

1. Who we are

Looty Bay map is a non-commercial fan project: an interactive map of the town from the game ROB RUN. The site is run by a private individual, the site administrator. The project is not affiliated with the game's developers, sells nothing, shows no ads and shares no data for advertising. There are no accounts, and the site never asks for your name, phone number or email. Contact the administrator: voorhu@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

DataWhyLegal basisHow long
Yandex Metrica analytics — cookies, IP address, browser and device details, page addresses and referrer, actions on the page (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement), session replay (Webvisor) to understand how the map is used and make it betteryour consent — the "Accept" button; without it the counter is not loaded cookies — up to 1 year in your browser; data at Yandex — under its terms
Loot reports (the 📍 button on the map) — what was found, comment, spot on the map, building and floor, page language, time, a hash of your IP address with a secret salt to check the report and add the spot to the map; the hash is used only against spamyour consent — sending the report while the report is needed to check and complete the map; deleted on request
Emails to the administrator at voorhu@gmail.com — the sender's address and the email text to answer a question or handle a data requestyour consent — sending the email until the matter is resolved, then deleted
Map settings in your browser — collapsed panels and your analytics choice so the map remembers your choiceneeded for the map to work; never sent to the serveruntil you clear browser data

The site's server never stores the IP address itself — only a hash that cannot be turned back into the address. The site keeps no visit logs. Please don't put personal data in reports unless you want us to have it.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser to recognise it on later visits. localStorage — the site's storage in your browser — works in a similar way.

NameTypeSet by and purposeLifetime
lb_consentnecessary (localStorage)the site — remembers your analytics choiceuntil you clear browser data
lb_layers_min, lb_legend_minfunctional (localStorage)the site — remembers whether panels are collapseduntil you clear browser data
_ym_* (e.g. _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad, _ym_visorc)analytics (cookies), only with consentYandex Metrica — tells visitors apart, runs the counter and Webvisor30 minutes to 1 year

How to manage them: the buttons at the top of this page, the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the map menu, and your browser settings (the privacy / cookies section), where cookies can be deleted or blocked. If you block browser storage, the map still works but won't remember collapsed panels or your choice.

4. Who receives data

5. How we protect data

We collect as little as possible. Only the site administrator can access reports and emails; IP addresses are not stored. Analytics never starts without your consent.

6. Your rights

Reports are not linked to your name, so to find them please describe in your request what you sent and when.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.

8. Contact the administrator
